Privacy Policy

Summary

Thwack is an offline golf launch monitor. Camera video, ball tracking, and shot numbers stay on your iPhone. No account. No upload. Airplane mode works.

Information Thwack uses on your device

• Camera. Films setup and the swing so Thwack can find the ball, catch impact, and measure launch. Frames are processed on the phone.
• Motion sensors. Checks that the phone is steady and aimed correctly during setup.
• Photos (optional). If you allow it, Thwack can save tracer videos to Photos. It only asks for add-only access. It does not read your existing library.
• On-device storage. Shot history, calibration, settings, and clips stay in the app on your phone.

What we do not collect

• No cloud account or login
• No advertising identifiers
• No analytics that ship your swings somewhere else
• No sale of personal information

If something on the phone asks for network access, that is not Thwack uploading your video. Capture and tracking are built to run offline.

Sharing

We do not share your swing video or shot data with third parties. If you AirPlay to a TV or export a video from Photos, that is under your control.

Data retention and deletion

Data stays on your device until you delete shots in the app or delete the app. Uninstalling Thwack removes its local data.

Children

Thwack is not aimed at kids under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
